FINDLAY, OH – The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), Division of Wildlife will offer a Turkey Hunting Clinic on March 10, 2001 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Wildlife District Two Headquarters, 952 Lima Avenue, Findlay. Topics will include wild turkey history, biology and behavior, equipment, regulations, and hunting techniques. Individuals need to pre-register by March 2nd by calling (419) 424-5000. Ohio’s spring wild turkey season opens in all 88 counties on April 23, 2001. In addition, special wild turkey youth hunts are scheduled on most state public hunting areas April 21 and 22, 2001.
