The popular trout lake at Two Rivers State Recreation Area near Venice will close to fishing at sundown Oct. 15, according to Jeff Jackson, District V Fisheries Supervisor.
Jackson said the lake was recently stocked and there are still about 11,000 trout available to anglers. He said most of the fish not taken this fall will be available for anglers when the lake reopens to fishing April 1, 2000.
