Subject: Catching bass off the bed

I have fished for bass for over 30 years and I know that in the past I have taken some nice bass off the nest, but now I am not so sure that this is the best thing to do? I have always practiced catch and release at this time of year but I have seen bluegill come in and rob the nest blind while the Bass I just released is sorting out his predicament and returning to the nest (does not happen as fast as you think they would return, at least by my observations). I personally try to avoid the beds now because I do not want to disturb them and destroy a whole nest of eggs just for one fish.  Tell me how you all feel about this and am I wrong in my thinking on this matter?

Thanks, Taylormade (Doug)
