Anyone have a suggestion what you think may be wrong with 'lil Buck Bass? One of two things IMO;

Disease or injury.

There are Muskie in these waters and I have seen some pretty big muskie running shad early in the morning. I am thinking that maybe this 'lil buck was running with the muskie and stuck his big head in front of one trying to steal his meal!

No other marks were found on this fish. I release him and it appeared he was just as fisty as the rest of the fish we caught that day were.
