Caught at O'brien Lake in Jackson County, WV, on 4/27/04. I didn't have any scales with me (that sucks bad) but it was 22.5" and had a 16.5" girth. To recieve a state citation award, a largemouth must be 5lbs. or more. However, I didn't want to drag the fish to the closest certified scales (not even sure where that would be) and risk killing it. I guessed this fish to be between 6.5lbs. and 7.5lbs.
