At one time I'd have agreed with you wholeheartedly.  However, some of the new premium bullets have started to change the reality of what does and doesn't work.  It's a little harder for me these days to be critical of the use of any given caliber/chambering.  Now I believe that the bullet used and the hunter's ability to place his round precisely should also be factored in when considering suitability.
