Started a new thread (old habits are hard to break Mark: Ever think about a camera safe in your vee-hickle? Allan: I've never thought about that! I guess I have always carried too much stuff to fit in anything smaller than a fairly large case - it might be tough to find a safe with that much capacity. I usually just slip my hard case down between the front and back seats and cover it with something hoping that out of sight and out of mind (and covered by insurance) are enough. I don't know if you travel up their (for business) in an SUV or 4x4 of some sort, but as a general comment for the entire listening audience, they have some really cool locking slide-outs custom-fitted for the back of most larger SUVs now. They're in extensive use in law enforcement where they ca safely lock up firearms and other gear from being stolen and it would seem just the ticket for a traveling professional writer/photographer.
