Wilson uses a pistol here with a near full-length guide rod but it disassembles like a short rod. they also use a grip safety with a notch allowing it to be removed before the mainspring housing and replaced after, unlike a standard grip safety. Additionally they have a Wilson magwell, and an ambi safety. that sad, this is a professional, well-done video that should be useful for anyone in need of a video on disassembling and reassembling any standard 1911 that does not have a Series 80 or Schwartz Lock type firing pin lock.
